From My Heart, Out Of My Mind

Could this be the reason people are leaving the church?

Posted by Don Bryant on October 14, 2009

“People are leaving the church by the thousands not because they have lost their faith but because they are trying to find it.”  Graham Cook

I think this is true. The church is trying to get its breath in order to come up with something that will keep them in. But the “something” isn’t there.

What is that “something”?

  1. a simple observant said

it is my duty to my fellow brother humans to share what i have learned and still do everyday – by the grace of heavens – which i consider most valuable. maybe this is the reason why people are leaving / should leave:

only reason itself needs to be right. there is no right tech as nothing coming from the mind can be right. life is not a problem. our mind is. and there are no mechanical and rigid systems that lead us to freedom. they lead us more into the problem of the mind.
the heart is the (dis)solution. it is the heart who leads ‘t.here’ instantly, the cause of the only reform that can happen in the human soul. through simplicity, love, kindness, castity. through fighting one’s own ego, pride and inability to understand and forgive. through the ability of recognizing and silencing one’s negative thoughts, by the love given to others like if they were ourselves, which is the hardest but also the most precious thing in life, the only one that keep teaching us everyday the glory of creation.

this is not about scientology, this is about the anti-christ. the anti-christ that lives inside of all of us, the one we really need to o v e r t hrow. at many points, others only have the ungrateful task of reflecting our own image.
