The news is that David Wilkerson has issued a prophecy of the upcoming world disaster.
AN EARTH-SHATTERING CALAMITY IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN. IT IS GOING TO BE SO FRIGHTENING, WE ARE ALL GOING TO TREMBLE – EVEN THE GODLIEST AMONG US.
For ten years I have been warning about a thousand fires coming to New York City. It will engulf the whole megaplex, including areas of New Jersey and Connecticut. Major cities all across America will experience riots and blazing fires—such as we saw in Watts, Los Angeles, years ago…

John Piper evaluates this “word of prophecy.” And he never once uses the word “whacko.” Aw c’mon, Pastor Piper. Pleassssssssse. Just this once. The problem is that Piper thinks this deserves a serious response. And that bothers me almost as much.

The man who shot the Pastor this last Sunday in IL is reported to have had Lyme Disease and suffering from the mental effects. I had the onset of Lyme two and a half years ago, and it was bad news. My whole upper arm went numb and the headaches were immense. I had the blessing of a Nurse Practitioner who got on top of it as soon as I went in for a check up regarding my symptoms. Some people go a year or more before proper diagnosis and are often under treated. I finally had to have 14 days of iv antibiotics. My veins started wearing out. I don’t think there was a bacteria left in my body. I did my research and found some real horror stories. Amy Tam is one of my favorite authors and has suffered from Lyme big time. Go to her website and read the story. The scary thing is that its symptons can always return so I try to keep mindful. I don’t have any problem conjecturing that Lyme Disease can lead to murder. And if I ever do want to murder someone, I have my defense ready.

From The American Conservative Union:
Personally, I wasn’t expecting any sort of controversial catechism from Warren. If he ended his prayer like Franklin Graham, who closed his invocation at Bush’s 2001 inauguration “in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ” and was lambasted by the politically left for doing so, I would have been pleasantly surprised. Well, in my estimation, Rick Warren was Franklin Graham on spiritual steroids. Read the rest of this entry »
