News! News! News! Boston College is Roman Catholic. Who would’ve guessed?

BC decided that crucifixes should be place in classrooms. It is RC, you know. There are plenty of objections, but not from the students. The faculty!!!! See articles here and here. Some things really stun me. This is one of them. The new Pope has decided that RC tertiary education must own its RC heritage and things are starting to trickle down. Good for them.  And shame on the intellectual dishonesty of the faculty. They should be ready to admit to the truth that true tolerance has come to Western culture because of Christianity. Even though they may not be Christian, they should be ready to give a tip of the hat to the hand that not only feeds them but built the underpinnings of the modern university.
