Thanksgiving Redux

I am thankful that I have been blessed with the call to pastor. It has been my privilege to center my life on God in Christ – I can’t imagine giving my time and energy to any other dream. And I have also been blessed to be immersed in the world of people and ideas. There has been incredible pain along the way and moments when courage alone, raw and high voltage, was the supreme call upon upon my life. But I still feel sorry for anyone who doesn’t get to do what I do. God’s work in the heart is a call to mystery, intrigue, surprise and beauty. I am thankful that Coastal Church has extended to me the privilege of service.
