I have been intrigued by that part of the Serenity Prayer which goes like this: “so that I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with you forever in the next.” Reasonably happy, I ask? What’s that?Would I want to buy a car if the salesperson said that I would be reasonably happy with it? I don’t think so. I would want one that makes me supremely happy.
