The Great Courses

Posted by Don Bryant on November 16, 2006

The Teaching Company brings engaging professors into your home or car through college courses on DVD, CD and audiotape. With over 200 courses, this resource is an unbelievable boon to those who can’t get back to the college class room but want college level material to expand their intellectual horizons. Courses range right across the academic spectrum – literature, philosophy, history, fine arts, science, religion and many others. I have used the ones on the history of Egypt, astronomy, and St. Augustine. A great learning experience. The costs are very reasonable. I encourage you to check out their catalog.
